EBLO activity linked to other Council projects e.g. Modern Apprenticeships, 14-16 Increased Flexibility Programme, in order to reduce numbers of those at risk of entering NEET or being early leavers. [Participation Strategy]

Work in partnership with existing ‘interim’ CoVEs to ensure Colleges gain full CoVE status to support learners and employers in relevant sector. [Skills Strategy]
Consortia of FE college, schools, employers and private training providers established offering integrated education and training opportunities. [Learning Strategy]
Effective IT skills pilots developed and in place to increase IT skills base and test out appropriate qualifications. [Participation Strategy]
