Most funding will be accessed through Invitations to Tender.  This is a requirement of the European Social Fund, but also enables the local Council to identify and procure specific project activity in line with the Council’s Local Plan and Co-Financing Plan requirements. Information contained within Expressions of Interest may be used to inform the development of the specification for an Invitations to Tender.

 A limited number of innovative Development Funding proposals may be invited, for example, where there is a specific need identified within an Expression of Interest that is not being addressed through Invitations to Tender, or a project may be piloted in a specific location or with a specific client group.
